We are currently looking for an Electrical Supervisor to support the execution of a utility-scale photovoltaic project based in Dallas, Texas. This is a field-based role focused on supervising electrical works, ensuring compliance with approved engineering, U.S. regulations, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Electrical Supervisor will oversee all electrical construction activities on-site, ensuring that works are executed according to approved engineering documentation, project specifications, and applicable standards.

The role requires strong coordination with subcontractors and internal teams, with a continuous focus on safety, quality control, and schedule adherence.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Approve electrical works procedures, including:

    1. Resource allocation

    2. Quality Control Plan

    3. Inspection Point Program (IPP)

    4. Safety measures

  • Supervise electrical works to ensure compliance with approved engineering and project specifications.

  • Coordinate electrical activities with other project disciplines.

  • Ensure that all activities comply with project quality, safety, and environmental standards.

  • Perform daily follow-up of electrical activities and monitor progress against schedule.

  • Immediately report delay risks, safety concerns, or quality deviations, stopping works if necessary to prevent non-compliance.

  • Supervise and approve (or technically reject with justification) inspection results and quality controls.

  • Prepare progress and performance reports for project control.

  • Report contractor non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

  • Support and cooperate during commissioning activities of the plant.

SCOPE OF SUPERVISION

Supervision and approval (or rejection) of electrical works related to:

  • Installation of switchgear, cells, transformers, inverters, and power stations

  • LV and MV cable laying and trench compliance with electrical requirements

  • DC solar cable installation and stringing

  • Module interconnection

  • Evacuation infrastructure

  • Any other electrical work requested by the Site Manager

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in renewable energy projects (utility-scale PV preferred).

  • Proven experience in:

    1. Supervision of electrical works in photovoltaic plants

    2. Construction procedures of PV plants

    3. Quality control in electrical installations

    4. Construction safety measures in PV projects

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. electrical standards (NEC preferred).

  • Ability to interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLD), electrical layouts, and technical documentation.

  • Full availability to work on-site in Dallas, Texas.
