We are currently looking for a SUPPLY CHAIN OPERATIONS MANAGER – ROMANIA / EASTERN EUROPE to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the operational execution of Supply Chain activities across assigned projects in Romania and Eastern Europe, from the initial project handover through to final delivery.
You will act as the main point of connection between clients, Project Management, Planning, Logistics, and Trade Compliance, ensuring delivery deadlines are met, anticipating potential risks, and coordinating the necessary actions to ensure successful project execution.
Your main responsibilities will include:
· Lead the end-to-end Supply Chain execution of assigned projects, from handover through to final delivery.
· Act as the main Supply Chain point of contact for clients and Project Managers, participating in project follow-up meetings and site visits when required.
· Coordinate local logistics execution together with Planning, Logistics, suppliers, warehouses, carriers, freight forwarders, and ports, prioritizing movements and deliveries according to each project's requirements.
· Coordinate daily customs operations, working closely with customs brokers and monitoring customs clearance, documentation, incidents, and any potential impact on deliveries.
· Coordinate cross-functionally with all relevant areas — Planning, Delivery Management, Logistics, Trade Compliance, Project Management, and external suppliers — ensuring alignment and compliance with execution priorities.
· Proactively identify risks, delays, and bottlenecks, leading recovery plans and corrective actions whenever customer commitments may be affected.
· Monitor operational KPIs, driving improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing delivery performance and the customer experience.
Education: University degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
Experience: 8–10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Operations, Project Delivery, Logistics, or EPC project execution.
Industry experience: Solid experience in construction, EPC, infrastructure, or large-scale industrial projects.
Technical knowledge:
· Hands-on experience in Supply Chain Execution, Delivery Management, and cross-functional project coordination.
· Strong understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes, including Planning, Sourcing, Logistics, and Site Delivery.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
· Experience with planning, analytics, and ERP tools such as Anaplan, NetSuite, Power BI, or similar platforms will be considered an advantage.
· Experience related to steel supply chains, manufacturing, logistics, or heavy industry will also be considered an advantage.
Languages: Ability to work professionally in an international environment, collaborating with teams from different countries and cultures.
Availability: Willingness to undertake domestic and international travel, mainly within Romania and Eastern Europe, according to project requirements.

The salary range for this position is €30,000–€40,000 gross per year.
The individual compensation package will be determined based on objective criteria related to professional experience, education, technical skills, level of responsibility, and suitability for the position, in accordance with the SEYSES Salary Transparency Policy.
